I’ve launched a brand new free community on Skool and I wanted to tell you all about it — why I’m doing it, what happened with the Teachable platform, and why I think this is going to be something really special. If you’ve ever wanted a place to ask questions, share your builds, and connect with others who are into agentic AI, automation, and everything across the no-code to pro-code spectrum, this is it.

What Happened with Teachable

Back in early 2025, I launched a community and course platform on Teachable. I had big ambitions — a full Copilot Studio course, a Power Automate course to follow, content on building agents and working with large language models, fortnightly live calls, the works. And honestly? It was a massive learning curve. Not just the platform itself, but the sheer amount of work that goes into building, recording, editing, and maintaining course content on top of everything else.

At the same time, life was throwing a few curveballs. I had the prospect of a job promotion at Microsoft which demanded more of my time and energy. My ongoing health challenges — which some of you will know about from my previous posts — were also a factor. And when you add a full-time job, a YouTube channel, a blog, and a young family into the mix, something had to give.

I probably overcommitted. I’ll hold my hands up to that. But rather than let it drag on or deliver something half-baked, I decided to take a step back, learn from the experience, and come back with something more sustainable.

A Fresh Start on Skool

So here we are. I’ve launched a free community on Skool — a platform purpose-built for communities, forums, and group interaction. No courses to maintain, no complex platform to manage. Just a place where we can all come together to talk agentic AI, automation, prompts, LLMs, and building solutions across the full spectrum — from no-code through low-code to pro-code.

Right now, the community is completely free to join. I may introduce a small joining fee down the line to help cover costs and keep the community engaged, so if you’re thinking about it — get in now while it’s free.

What You Can Expect

This isn’t a course platform. It’s a community-first space where you can:

  • 💬 Ask questions and get help — whether it’s Power Automate expressions, Copilot Studio agents, prompt engineering, working with LLMs, Power Apps, or anything across the no-code, low-code, and pro-code automation space
  • 🌍 Connect with people globally — the forum is open to everyone, wherever you are in the world
  • 🎙️ Join live calls — from time to time I’ll run live sessions where we can chat, demo, troubleshoot, and learn together. I’m not committing to a rigid schedule — life’s too unpredictable for that — but when they happen, they’ll be worth showing up for
  • 🤝 Support each other — the best communities are the ones where everyone chips in. I want this to be a place where beginners feel welcome and experienced makers can give back

Why Skool?

I chose Skool because it’s simple, focused, and built for community. There’s no bloat, no complex course builder to wrestle with, and the forum format makes it easy to find and contribute to conversations. It’s exactly what I need to keep things sustainable alongside my day job and everything else going on.

Lessons Learned

If there’s one thing I’ve taken away from the Teachable experience, it’s this: don’t overcommit. It’s tempting to go all-in on a big vision, but if you can’t sustain it, you’ll end up letting people down — including yourself. I’d rather offer something simple that I can show up for consistently than something ambitious that fizzles out.

That’s not to say I won’t grow this over time. I absolutely will. But I’m doing it at a pace that works for me, my health, and my family. And I think that’s the right call.

Come and Join Us

The door is open and the community is growing. Whether you’re just getting started with Power Automate, building your first agentic AI solution in Copilot Studio, crafting prompts for large language models, or writing pro-code integrations — there’s a seat at the table for you. No-code, low-code, pro-code — everyone’s welcome.
